Snuggled next to its better known big sister Aspen, Snowmass is the perfect family choice and for those wanting more ski in ski out options in the area. Skiers will find more than 5,300 acres or over 280km of terrain between Snowmass, Aspen Mountain (Ajax), Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk. Though somewhat quieter than Aspen, Snowmass has its own identity which is stamped firmly on the family market. This awesome mountain is great choice for any level of skier with a fantastic beginner area totally blocked off to other skiers ensuring a high degree of safety.

Snowmass mountain has some of the best skiing in America in a snow sure environment with accommodations to suit almost any budget with many offering ski in ski out options. The Westin and Viceroy lead the way with 4/5 star ski in ski out luxury followed by the Stonebridge Inn, the Mountain Chalet and Pokolodi Lodge. There are many ski in ski out condos such as he Crestwood and Timberline, but there is a good choice. to suit your budget. We then have a few catered chalet options for groups of 6 or more. Many have spa facilities and some even have creche facilities

One of the biggest reasons that Snowmass is reputed as the perfect resort for a family ski trip is in large part to its 25,000-square-foot Treehouse Kids Adventure Centre. This state-of-the-art facility is the hub for all things children and with a several perfect areas solely devoted to beginner skiers, including the new Elk Camp Gondola and right by the Elk Camp mountain restaurant.

For any skier wanting perfectly cared for slopes, Snowmass is paradise. The cruisers at Snowmass are meticulously manicured every night (and some are groomed at noon every day) and for those looking to challenge themselves there are many different areas for intermediates to hone their skills on. Speeding down Sneakys or shredding down Sheer Bliss can only bring a whoop and a holla as you have so much space in pristine snow.Expert skiers looking to test themselves will find cliffs to drop, tight trees to navigate and fresh powder throughout the more than 3,300 acres of skiable terrain at Snowmass and more so over at the Headwall for advanced skiers only.

Once the lifts have closed there are some good bars by the slopes and a number of eateries but with Aspen 15 mins away you have endless dining, nightlife and shopping the town of Aspen is famous for, providing more than enough reasons to visit one of the world's most famous and exciting ski resorts. There's no better time to experience Aspen/Snowmass....Authentic,Atmospheric and just Awesome.
