Squaw Valley is another Lake Tahoe option and on the same International pass as Heavenly, though Heavenly also has its own Epic Pass options, so it pays to discuss with an expert the best choice pass for you.Squaw is the largest ski resort on North Lake Tahoe and also has Northstar next to it.Check out the latest ski and snow report for Squaw Valley, Northstar and Alpine Meadows, so you have the up to date snow conditions, recent and projected inches of snowfall before heading up to the mountain for your day on the slopes. That way you will have the right gear with you.

Squaw Valley is a well designed ski resort offering a good choice of high quality and more 3 star accommodation, with no Casinos, to suit any budget. Its a similar sized area to ski or board as Heavenly but more of a village than a town.Pretty much as reliable resort as you can get anywhere for snow falls, averaging around 40 feet a ski season, this area is suitable for all levels, with lots of wide open and well groomed pistes, accessed from the village base by either a large gondola or cable car.Squaw is also know for its steep skiing and attracts filming and skiers from around the globe. For the die hards there is more floodlit skiing around Central Park until 9pm,which maybe adds to that perfect snow and sun filled day!Awesome.

Customer Reviews of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, Lake Tahoe

We have 2 review's for Squaw Valley Ski Resort, Lake Tahoe.

"Amazing home. Our group usually likes to be "out and about" but we came home every day to apres ski in the comfort of the home. With the wood burning fireplace, comfy seating and open area between kitchen and living room, it was perfect."
Celeste, Birmingham (Review Submitted: 28/04/2011 at 07:24)

"Awesome skiing and we had the pass that covers this huge ski area.More skiing than the 3 valleys but the minor inconvenience is that they are not interconnected.Car recommended rather than a shuttle.Highly recommend this area for the snow quality and quantity.Never skied before on so much snow.Good value too and more so compared to Meribel. We will return. Thanks for your help and advice.Much appreciated."
