Few ski resorts can match Heavenly's scenic beauty and expansive network of lifts, terrain, trails and snowmaking. Located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is the largest ski area at Lake Tahoe, featuring the highest elevation and longest vertical drop. The views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range are jaw dropingly superb.

Lake Tahoe skiing is a memorable experience and one that you’ll treasure forever. It has a world class ski area suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders. The ski area on the one pass is larger than the 3 Valleys...its just not interconnected and includes Sierra,Alpine Meadows,Kirkwood,Northstar,Squaw Valley and Mt Rose.Heavely though is where all the action is and staying here is also relatively inexpensive to eat out, or go for a few beers, especially with so many happy hours on offer. Sit and gamble at a Casinoa with just a minimal amount and your drinks are free! Certainly compared to Europe it can be a veritable bargain!

The mountain averages 360 inches of annual snowfall covering 4,800 skiable acres and a 3,500-foot vertical drop. Sitting on the border of California and Nevada that you can actually ski across, it’s easy to find a variety of entertainment and nightlife after a day on the slopes at Heavenly. The resort offers options for après ski, from its Tamarack Lodge to the surrounding south Lake Tahoe area. Heavenly’s superb terrain combined with world-class entertainment on your doorstep makes it a skier and snowboarder favourite and its an excellent choice for families too.

Accommodation at Heavenly consists of residential Casino, hotels, condos and apartments with a number of catered and self catered chalets and private homes. Lakeland Village, Inn by the Lake and Tahoe Lodge and Spa, offer excellent value for money hotel/condo style options. Like Banff, summer is the busiest season, but with our Heavenly accommodation help, we can find you the best deals & options to suit any budget and it pays to book early to get the best deals.
